Clinical Supervision for Mental Health Practitioners, Interns and Students
Dr. Gatter provides clinical supervision for Mental Health Practitioners, Interns and Students. Dr. Gatter uses her extensive background in individual and couple therapy, Imago Relationship Training, Bonding & Attachment, Hartford Family Institute Training in In-Depth Body Psychotherapy and Energy Healing, Gestalt Psychotherapy Training as well as her experience as a Director and Trainer in the Human Relations Program as a means for offering guidance and extended training to those in the field.
The benefit of Supervsion is to safe-guard the client by promoting the development and well-being of the counselor.
The Goals of Supervision are:
- -Viewing the client/therapist interaction through a relational framework
- -Incorporating a Mind-Body Approach to deepen the therapeutic process
- -Providing the supervisee with the best learning environment possible in order to ensure the proper melding of theory and practice.
Dr. Gatter provides individual and group supervison.
Groups are held every other Wednesday from 9-10:30 am.
